Job Purpose
We are looking for compassionate, motivated individuals who are eager to learn new skills and undertake specialist training to support customers with complex and individualised support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, including:
- Medication administration
- Feeding tube support
- Use of suctioning equipment
- Oxygen administration
- Support customers to:
- Make choices and maintain control over their lives
- Express themselves creatively
- Socialise and develop positive relationships
- Build community links and access a variety of meaningful activities.
- Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals.
- Support customers with daily routines, meal preparation/support, and personal care when required.
- Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
About You:
- Experience in health and social care is desirable, but not essential.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and compassionate approach are essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lone work when required and following training.
- Be motivated to learn new skills and willing to undertake training to provide specialist support e.g. feeding tubes, suctioning equipment and administration of oxygen.
- Driver or non-driver considered.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm
